I’m a native Dallasite, eldest of five children and Richardson High School graduate. My father was the art director for several major magazines and my mother has been in real estate for 40+ years. I worked with my father as an assistant editor at the Davis Building downtown until I had my first child. Over the course of raising my five children I built a 24 Hour 7 Day childcare chain totaling eight locations in the Dallas and Houston areas. This was my first experience with real estate buying homes in the 1980’s with non qualifying assumptions. After selling my daycare business I joined my mother in her real estate practice. We had the pleasure of working with Ebby Halliday and Keller Williams where I founded Sterling Group International. I opened my own brokerage in 2008 working mostly on my own residential and commercial investments. In 2011, Paul Smith joined me as my managing partner to expand the business to include agents who could handle a variety of services including residential and commercial listings, purchases, and leases as well as apartment locating, property management, and nationwide agent locating. I belong to various residential , commercial, and mortgage associations locally, statewide, nationally, and internationally. I live in North Dallas. Two of my sons are married and are in the travel business, one son works for the Dallas Sheriff Dept as a detective. My daughter just graduated from Harvard Law School and works as a patent attorney with Baker-Botts. The youngest son is the head tennis coach at Baker University where he is earning his Masters and is engaged to be married next June. I have a 16 year old grandson who plays JV football at McKinney Boyd High School. Quite the Star! I enjoy my business and family. Love music, sports, and trav
