business. Joing the Funk Realty team was an easy decision, as it is their mission to take care of their client's needs by building relationships though trust and with integrity.
Brenda's personal mission is to become a trusted advisor to each and
every client. Striving to anticipate issues before they arise, providing
a service that is paramount to no other, and leaving clients feeling they
have received something far more valuable than any fee they may have paid.
Since becoming a real estate professional, Brenda has taken the time to earn numerous
certifications and designations to ensure her clients are getting a
well-trained, knowledgeable agent.

Brenda’s client-focused approach helps buyers locate homes that

an active valued referral network. Every element of the sales process is
important to Brenda, and each one receives her full and focused attention.
The proud mother of two amazing children has led her into several
remarkable career fields. As the parent of younger children, she obtained her
teaching degree and helped students to develop and fulfill their academic
potential for many years. As her daughter, Sydney, became a top competitive
athlete at WOGA Gymnastics in Plano, Texas, Brenda added to her resume, by
becoming a business owner. In 2014 she developed a school for Elite athletes at
WOGA. As director, Brenda not only ran the business operations of the school,
but also taught the athletes ranging in grades from 4th to 9th. Brenda’s son, Brandon,
is an accounting major at Ole Miss University. Her children are a constant
motivation for Brenda’s drive to succeed in everything she does. Additionally, Brenda owned a highly successful professional home staging business. This experience allows her to lend her creative eye for design to each home she meticulously prepares for sale on the world market.
Having been married for twenty-four years to a military service
member, Brenda has traveled the world, living from Japan to England and moved a total of fifteen times in her life. She has a clear understanding of the demands of overseas travel, as well as the intricacies of the moving process itself.
A native Texan, she was born in the small town of Mexia, and spent
most of her primary years in Austin, where her father was a police officer. Brenda graduated from Greenville High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in marketing from The University of Maryland, Asia Division.
Additionally, she is a certificate paralegal from Southern Methodist
University. Having worked briefly in Real Estate Law.
Raised in Texas, Brenda understands the numerous intangible benefits of life in Texas, with its unmatched weather, culture and diversity. Representing Texas homeowners and future homeowners, Brenda is committed to listening to her client’s needs and
utilizing her keen negotiating skills to ensure a successful transaction.
