Jolene Docummun knows homes from framing to finish out. Now she brings her unique skill set to residential real estate clients. Her career foundation began at the Dallas Apparel Mart, where she founded the first resident buying office exclusively for childrenswear stores, outside of New York City. She created unique private label offerings and catalogs for independent retailers throughout the country -- enabling her customers to compete with the national chains and building her own brand of value-added service. In the 1990s, Jolene began buying, upgrading renting and re-selling properties for her own portfolio as well as investor groups, then expanded to a full-time career focus as a General Contractor. She has personally purchased and renovated nearly 50 properties, including an 8-unit building that she converted to condominiums and sold off separately, a 10-unit apartment building, condos/townhomes and single family homes. Each property was sold at a profit. As a contractor, she has overseen more than 250 remodeling projects since 2000. Jolene has a keen eye for real estate opportunity -- how to buy for value and savvy upgrading with profitable re-sale in mind. She knows remodeling work -- able to assess value and quality of work done, as well as scope/pricing of upgrades that a buyer might desire, including prioritization of where to spend for the highest return on investment.
