This course will provide a broad overview of 1031 exchanges for realtors to gain a good understanding of what they are and how they work so that they can better advise their clients. As their clients’ guide throughout the purchase or sales process, Realtors will be able to identify when a client might qualify for, and benefit from doing a 1031 exchange, ensure that they start the exchange process according to the rules, and help them by potentially identifying red flags that could cause an exchange to fail.
