Class Start & End Time: 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; Lunch: 12-12:45 p.m.

Regardless of how long a real estate agent has been in the business, seller agency has been available and more importantly, it remains the primary focus for agents across the country. However, since the advent of buyer agency and the emphasis on training how to be an effective buyer representative, it has become apparent we can no longer assume seller agents have the same level of effectiveness. The Seller Representative Specialist course is a 16 hour course designed to take a new agent to an accomplished level sooner and an already successful agent to an even higher level of competency. It focuses on the skills necessary to properly represent a property owner, including agency, marketing, and servicing the client.

Topics Covered:

• Developing your value proposition and crafting your message
• Prospecting tactics & tools to generate business
• How to effectively prepare for the listing appointment and meeting with the seller
• Tools and strategies to market the listing
• Understanding different offers and the presentation of offers
• Understanding and application of the Code of Ethics
• Tools and techniques providing support and services the seller wants and needs.

How to Earn It

Education

• Complete the SRS course.
• Complete one of the SRS elective courses.

Exam

• There is no exam requirement for the SRS Course.

Professional Affiliation

• Member in good standing with the National Association of REALTORS®
  • Exception: International members of SRS do not have to be members of NAR.
• Member in good standing with SRS
