Ultra-efficient home design combines state-of-the-art, energy-efficient construction, appliances, and lighting with commercially available renewable energy systems, such as solar water heating and solar electricity. By taking advantage of local climate and site conditions, home designers can incorporate passive solar heating and cooling and energy-efficient landscaping strategies. This course with inform the license holder on energy efficient solar home options available to discuss with their clients, potential ways to reduce home energy, and how to choose the most cost-effective options possible, for the client looking to buy interested in an energy-efficient home.
